Shakorie Davis

President

As President of Next Generation Construction, Shakorie brings over sixteen years of experience to your project. He started Next Generation Construction in 2009 and is 100% sole proprietor, of the minority-owned construction company. Beginning in the trades at a young age and progressing to own his own company, Shakorie has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all facets of the construction process.

 

As a graduate of CMSD’s East Technical High School, Mr. Davis is passionate about giving back to the community. He is inspired to provide maximum opportunity for other minority, female, small, and disadvantaged business enterprise firms and engaging with the community, residents, and business owners in the areas of the projects he undertakes.

Honoria Jala, AIA

Estimator & Budgeting

Honoria brings a background in architecture and business, which gives her a solid skill set when working on the details of budgets and estimates for the projects at Next Generation Construction. Prior to attending Kent State University, Ms. Jala graduated from CMSD’s James Ford Rhodes High School, where she participated in the ACE Mentor Program.

Tony Rosa

Superindendent

Tony brings over 30 years of experience working within the carpentry trades. He has managed crews ranging from 10 to over 30.  Responsibilities  include,  but  are not limited to: managing labor budgets and manpower, keeping to schedules to ensure deadlines, material logistics (requirements, ordering, schedules), regulating safety on site, leading meetings and walk-throughs, and working directly with owners, contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and other site workers.

James brings nearly 20 years of experience working with the local laborers, including time as a Foreman, Project Engineering, and Project Manager. His construction experience began with over a decade of hands on work under the Laborers Local 310, which has provided him   a solid base to lead and grow with Next Generation Construction. James is rooted in Cleveland, where he got a solid start as a proud CMSD graduate from East Technical High School.
